This is the first of a series of posts by different women who served this past fall in a variety of ways to serve the needy and evangelize the lost.

What is With Love from Jesus?
With Love From Jesus is an evangelical outreach in the community of Garner, NC, striving to meet some of the practical and spiritual needs of the surrounding community. This ministry serves the community weekly by sharing the plan of salvation/gospel message to all who enter its doors, and then allows them to take home food, clothes, and sometimes even furniture to meet their practical needs.
How did We Serve?
The Saturday we served, there must have been close to 400 people (or more) come through the doors of the building to hear the gospel message and receive much needed items. We served at a check-out point, where you would make sure they had a reasonable amount of items, so all could be served who entered the doors that day. This was at times very difficult to discern, especially when one would explain how much more they needed because of the size of their family or the difficulty they had in coming back two days later for more. It was such a time of joy while serving, but I also felt some conviction of sin because of my complaining and selfish heart. This ministry serves so many, whether it be those who enter the building to receive items, or challenges the hearts of those who serve. We are all in need of our Savior!
What Can You Do?
This ministry needs those who can serve in the following areas: personal ministry, giving of food, clothes, and furniture, sorters, organizers, baggers, and prayer warriors. This ministry provides such a wonderful opportunity to demonstrate and be reminded of the love of Jesus, whether being the voice, hands, feet, or just the smile ;). Powerful!
