And let us consider how to stir up one another to love and good works, not neglecting to meet together, as is the habit of some, but encouraging one another, and all the more as you see the Day drawing near. (Hebrews 10:24-25)
Home Groups are a vital part of our church life together. We expect all of our members to join a small group, but also encourage guests or regular attenders to participate. These groups vary in size and meet twice per month in members' homes throughout the area. The relationships established in these groups are designed to achieve five main objectives:
- Growing in Christ-like character
- Extending mutual care
- Enjoying friendship and biblical fellowship
- Experiencing/Expressing the gifts of the Holy Spirit
- Participating in outreach together
Occasionally some of our groups get full, but others are welcoming new members! As you consider a home group location that might work for your family.
Exploring Home Group Leadership Training
There are various ways to serve in our Home Group ministry, including hosting, leading worship, group organization, and serving as a Home Group Leader.
If you would like to know more about what is involved in becoming a Home Group Leader, we offer an introductory class, followed by several more sessions equipping members for this significant role in our church.
Because Home Group Leadership involves leadership in a co-ed environment, we do limit Home Group Leadership to men.
