In case you weren't able to join us this morning, we wanted you to know the new name of the church: Cornerstone Fellowship Church.
We're excited about this new chapter in the history of our church. We feel like Cornerstone captures so much of who we are and what God has done in our church family over the years. It speaks to who Christ is to us and to the people of God, and that we are a people committed to fellowship—partnership, koinovia. These aren't just words to us but part of the DNA of our church. But we also feel like the new name positions us for a new season of growth and fruitfulness.
Thank you for your patience in working through this process, and please join us in prayer that our next year(s) would be filled God's work in saving and changing many lives.
Over the next weeks you'll begin to see changes connected to our renaming—website, road sign, etc. Also, in our sermon series beginning September 13th we'll have a more complete introduction of the name and our core values—as well as some cool merchandise to send your way.
