The church exists for God's glory, and he has given gifts to his church to take his gospel forth and to bless the church and those in it. Among those gifts are the five-fold ministry gifts from Ephesians 4:11 – prophets, evangelists, pastors, teachers, and apostles – given by God to bring about the ultimate growth, maturity, and perfection of his church.
