Today's class looked at the doctrine of humanity, especially the special creation of mankind, mankind made in the image of God, made for the glory of God, made with a body and a soul, made male and female, and then lastly made of one race (Acts 17:26). We ended by reading a great quote from C.S. Lewis's Prince Caspian that captures so much:
“You come of the Lord Adam and the Lady Eve,” said Aslan. “And that is both honor enough to erect the head of the poorest beggar, and shame enough to bow the shoulders of the greatest emperor on earth. Be content.”
C.S. Lewis, Prince Caspian
