One of the responsibilities God has given to his church and his people is to make known his Word. In an age of extreme relativism where everyone judges truth for themselves, we must allow ourselves to be judged and evaluated by the Bible. Scripture teaches us about God, his gospel, ourselves, and our proper response to this gospel. Our focus on his Word is expressed in how much time we spend teaching it, studying it, memorizing it, discussing it. We are not only to proclaim God's Word but also to treasure it, hear it, and respond to it appropriately.
