Easter Sunday. Jesus wept for Lazarus, and yet he "was glad" because this sudden, surprising death was for the glory of God "so that you might believe." There is life after death. Death does not have the last word; Jesus does! He said to her, “I am the resurrection and the life. Whoever believes in me, though he die, yet shall he live, and everyone who lives and believes in me shall never die. Do you believe this?” (John 11:25-26). And then the glory of God was displayed, proving his word true. Do you believe?
